The United Straights of America (US of A) was created by our president Jason Brunt, shortly after the events written about in this article. Jason’s experience underscored the urgent need for a movement focused on advocating for children’s well-being in an increasingly polarized society.

Initially operating mostly underground, local chapters formed organically as parents and teachers united behind a shared desire to foster accepting school environments and healthy family communication. Over time, the US of A evolved into a nationwide nonprofit organization with a mission to promote mental health, prevent youth suicide, and uphold parents’ rights. However, the grassroots spirit remains strong, as volunteers across America engage in outreach, education, and advocacy.

At its core, the US of A’s message is that a thriving society requires mentally healthy kids. To achieve this goal, open and respectful dialogue is essential. Our voice aims to spark thoughtful conversation, even if that means stirring controversy. However, our intent is never to divide, but to unite people behind shared values.
